Each year in the UK, around 2,300 men are diagnosed with testicular cancer. It is more common in white men and younger to middle-aged. It is an area we find a lot of men show a degree of embarrassment in discussing which Cancer charities such as Macmillan are trying to help change. We want to help support this change and urge all men to regularly check themselves at least monthly and to visit a GP if they notice any abnormal changes no matter how small, the earlier the diagnosis, the greater the chances are of survival.
If you don’t have critical illness cover in place please do also reach out to us to help ensure you are financially protected if you were to suffer from a condition like this. A lot of our providers also offer free access to 24-7 virtual GPs, making it easier to make a quick appointment when needed.
